Camera and photos
The App uses your device camera to take photos and accesses your photo library to display and save images. Photos you take or select are processed and stored locally on your device only. They are not uploaded to us and are not shared with third parties by the App. You can delete photos at any time using your device. The camera and media permissions are used solely to provide the App's core functionality.
Data collected by third-party services
To operate, improve, and monetize the App, we use the following third-party services, which may process data as described:
- Google AdMob (Google Ireland Ltd / Google LLC): ad delivery, measurement, and fraud prevention. Processes the Advertising ID, IP address, device information, and ad-interaction data. Ads may be personalized.
- PostHog: product analytics to understand usage and improve the App. Processes app events and interactions, a pseudonymous device/installation identifier, and device model, operating-system and app version.
- Sentry: crash reporting and diagnostics to detect and fix errors. Processes crash logs, device model, and operating-system and app version at the time of an error.
Purposes and legal bases (GDPR)
- Providing the App's core features (camera, gallery): performance of our service at your request, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
- Advertising and analytics (AdMob, PostHog): your consent where required, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR; otherwise our legitimate interest in operating and improving the App, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
- Crash reporting and security (Sentry): our legitimate interest in a stable and secure App, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Advertising choices
You can limit personalized advertising and reset or delete your Advertising ID in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads). You can also opt out of personalized advertising via Google's settings at adssettings.google.com.
Data sharing and international transfers
We share information only with the service providers listed above. Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (for example, in the United States). Where this occurs, transfers are safeguarded by appropriate mechanisms such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. We do not sell your personal data.
Data retention
Photos remain on your device until you delete them. Data processed by our third-party providers is retained according to their respective policies and for as long as necessary for the purposes described above.
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. You may withdraw consent at any time. To exercise these rights, contact hello@sesang.de. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Children
The App is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
